some barnes and noble gift cards were burning a hole in my pocket.... i ordered these books that i've been wanting to read... now for a rainy day off (that's not likely to happen anytime soon in the desert...)!
The Omnivore's Dilemma has inspired me to try to make a career change to work in sustainable agriculture. It's an amazing book and has helped me make better choices about where I buy my food!
I've read Omnivore's Dilemma. You will love it. It is NOT a quick read though. . . I've also read Angela's Ashes. It's great!
I'm trying to think if I have anything good you could borrow when I am out in October. I have Real Food (awesome) and In Defense of Food. Both were really good. . . And parenting books? You want some of those?! :)

I've read Angela's Ashes. I really liked it. I've also read Frank McCourt's Teacher Man which is also good!
